Romarco Intersects 66 Meters Of 10.9 G/T At Horshoe

TORONTO, ON Romarco Minerals Inc. reported further drilling results from the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. Final assays are reported for Horseshoe holes DDH-378 and DDH-379, released September 20, 2010. Additionally, assay results are reported from drilling between the South and Ledbetter pits.

The Company announces receipt of the remaining results for DDH-378 and DDH-379 at Horseshoe. The updated results from deeper within these drill holes are reported together with the previously released upper zones. New drilling highlights include 7.7 meters of 12.8 g/t Au and 33.4 meters of 4.2 g/t Au from DDH-378, and 66.0 meters of 10.9 g/t Au from DDH-379. The 0.5 meter intercept from DDH-379 containing abundant visible gold is located within the mentioned interval, but has not been assayed and instead will be retained as a museum specimen. The Horseshoe zone remains open in all directions and at depth. Continued drilling beyond the limits of the proposed South and Ledbetter pits has identified additional mineralization. DDH-351 encountered mineralization deeper and north of the proposed South pit, including 51.2 meters of 4.1 g/t Au beginning 170 meters below surface. The intercept is poorly constrained with the nearest holes being 71 meters west and 37 meters to the southwest. DDH-351 is approximately 205 meters southwest from RC-1810 and RC-1816 (released September 7, 2010) that returned 48.8 meters of 3.1 g/t Au and 77.7 meters of 8.0 g/t Au, respectively.RC-1810 and RC-1816 identify a deeper and western extension of the proposed Ledbetter pit. Highlights from additional holes reported in the area west of Ledbetter include RC-1790 with 68.6 meters of 1.3 g/t Au and RC-1818 with 56.4 meters of 1.8 g/t Au. Collectively, these results indicate potential continuity of mineralization between the South and Ledbetter pits. Step out drilling is planned to determine the extent of the mineralization. Drilling is being performed by Romarco's company owned drill, by Connors Drilling, and by Boart Longyear. The drill samples are prepared and assayed by Alaska Assay Laboratories. Samples are prepared at their facility in Spartanburg, SC and assaying is completed in Fairbanks, AK. Blank samples and third party standards are inserted at random for submittal with all of the drill samples. The results of the control samples are within acceptable ranges. Periodic duplicate and check samples are analyzed by ALS Chemex in Reno, NV.The company's address is 181 Bay, St. Suite 3630, Toronto, ON M5J 2T3, 416-367-5500, fax: 416-367-5505.
