Drilling Expands Mineralization Between Zones At Haile

SPARKS, NV - Romarco Minerals Inc. reported recent assay results from its Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, USA.

RC-1546 encountered 36.6 meters (120 feet) of 8.0 g/t gold (0.234 opt) including 9 meters (30 feet) of 19.7 g/t gold (0.576 opt) and intersected the mineralized zone between two previously known deposits - Ledbetter and Snake which had previously not been drilled. The mineralization encountered in RC-1546 is 130 meters east of the Ledbetter deposit and 210 meters northwest of the Snake deposit. The mineralization was hosted in typical Haile silicified metasediments. Romarco's team is focusing additional drilling to identify the extent of this zone and its impact on the currently proposed pit shapes.

The results are summarized in the following table:

Diane Garrett, President and CEO stated "These drill results combined with other results to date emphasize the continued growth of the Haile Gold Mine and corroborate our view that the three known deposits are trending toward coalescing into one deposit. We are particularly excited with the higher grades we are encountering outside known deposit areas which add to the overall enhanced economics of the project.

The Company has four reverse circulation drill rigs working on site. The 2009 drilling program consists of step-out drilling to identify new resources and expand the known mineralized zone, in-fill drilling to convert inferred resources into measured and indicated, and condemnation drilling to test for gold mineralization under proposed plant and facility sites. The current mineralized zone remains open in all directions and at depth.
