Drilling Commences At Red Lake

ONTARIO - Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. reported that a diamond drilling program has commenced at the Red Lake Extension ("RLX") property at Red Lake, Ontario.

Field crews are on site and diamond drilling will consist of 6 widely-spaced holes totalling approximately 1,000 metres within the northwest part of the property. The area is largely overburden covered and consequently, targets were selected based on the review and prioritization of results from a detailed induced-polarization ("IP") geophysical and overburden geochemical sampling program recently completed by Tri Origin.

RLX is subject to a 4 year, earn-in option agreement with Osisko Mining Corporation which may earn a 51% interest in RLX by fully funding a total of $5 million of exploration over a four year period. The drill program comprises the final portion of the $600,000 first year exploration expenditure commitment agreed to by Osisko. Tri Origin is managing the program under the guidance of a management committee comprised of representatives from both companies.

RLX is a gold exploration project covering an area of 121 square kilometres located at the southeast part of the Red Lake Gold Mining District contiguous with Goldcorp Inc.'s Red Lake Mine property. The highly prolific Red Lake District hosts major operating and past-producing gold mines and has produced over 20 million ounces of gold.

Work conducted to date at the RLX property has identified the extension of the Red Lake Mine structural trend and important geological signatures in rocks at RLX which are similar to those which host the important gold deposits at Red Lake. Prior to Tri Origin's work, the RLX property was essentially unexplored for gold. Tri Origin is pleased to have Osisko's input and expertise in this phase of its exploration program.

The company's address is 125 Don Hillock Drive, Suite 18, Aurora ON L4G OH8.
