Romarco Announces Completion Of Scoping And Public Hearing Meeting 

TORONTO , ON - Romarco Minerals Inc. reported that the US Army Corps of Engineers held the Public Scoping Meeting last evening in Kershaw, South Carolina for the Company's Federal 404 Wetlands permit. The public provided input to the Corps on the scope of the issues to be addressed in the draft Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS").

The Meeting is a significant milestone in the EIS process. During the Meeting, the Corps summarized the National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") and EIS process, gave an overview of the Haile Gold Mine project, and requested a representative of Romarco provide the Company's comments. Diane Garrett , President and CEO, provided comments on behalf of Romarco. The public was then given the opportunity to provide verbal comments pertaining to the project.  Written comments can be submitted through November 28, 2011 . The local community commented with overwhelming support for the project. The Company feels that the few concerns identified have been addressed in the information it has already provided to the agencies. Overall, the Company was very pleased with the Meeting and expressed its desire and willingness to work in cooperation with the Corps in answering all questions presented.
