Mine Life Extended At Bjorkdal Gold Mine

VANCOUVER - Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. reported results from the underground development drilling at the 100%-owned Bjorkdal Gold Mine in Sweden. This latest drilling has been concentrated within two blocks that are not currently within the reserve/resource model. In the last five months, the Company has completed 20 diamond drill holes totalling 3,300 metres.

Bob Wasylyshyn, President said, "Drilling over the last seven months within Expansion Blocks 1 and 2 has intersected numerous gold mineralized veins of mineable grades and widths. Based on our extensive mining and drilling experience and our understanding of the orebody, management is confident that, at today's gold price, these results have extended the underground mine life by between one and two years. This will be confirmed by an updated reserve/resource estimate later this year. The orebody remains open to expansion and during the next five months we will drive two new explorations tunnels to further test the limits of known mineralization." The Company will commence a surface drilling campaign this month. The objective of this program is to develop new open pit and underground minable reserves/pages near current operations. This drilling will start at the SEE open pit and move towards the Nylunds Zone where over 100 historic holes have intersected gold mineralized quartz veins similar to those currently being mined. In order to minimize the effects of the coarse nugget gold at Bjorkdal, the Company has elected to submit 100% of the core for analysis, rather than retaining half of the core for archive. This provides a much larger sample for gold analysis and theoretically a more representative result. The core is logged and photographed, and for the zones sampled, the entire core is shipped to ALS Chemex for gold analysis. A rigorous QA/QC program is employed that involves the insertion of blanks and certified standards.
